Happy Easter 2013

Check out these cool eggs we decorated last weekend!  We spent the evening with family eating, drinking and decorating.  The table was filled with lots of supplies, dyes and candy.  It was so much fun!

We all loved the marble dye kit!  Very cool!

I heart snowmen!

You may recall, way back at the beginning of January I wrote a post about all the Santas around our house during the holidays.  Jess took the camera and snapped away at all the Santas she could find.  If you missed the post, you can find it here
Well, that same day, Sara's assignment was to photograph all the snowmen she could find!  I am not a big collector of things, with the exception of fabric, but several years ago (more like 15 years) I decided I wanted to collect snowman.  Specifically Sandi Gore Evans snowmen!  They are darling and I love them.  I have several SGE snowmen along with many others.  Today I noticed my day lilies have begun to break ground as I saw the first signs of green sprouting up from the ground so, before the tulips start to bloom, I want to feature Sara's pictures of our snowmen!  Thanks for your photographic skills sis!  Enjoy!

2 months! Yikes!

How does one let TWO months go by without a single post you ask?  I have no answer.  It just happens.  Maybe if I wasn't so interested in reading others blogs (I have a list of a few favorites!) then maybe I would post more often.  My days just fly by and before I know it its 11:23pm and I'm nodding off at the computer...again.  Anyway, I apologize for the delay.  Hoping to resume a regularly scheduled posting line-up soon.  Hoping....key word! :)

BTW, the Selph girls love winter!

Man, I sure need to spend some time learning how to edit my photos!  I currently do zero photo-editing.  I might try the free download of Lightroom sometime.  I've heard its great for not only editing but photo storage too.
So tell me, whats your favorite season?
